About us

  • Established in 1982, Clear Flour Bread specializes in making authentic breads & pastries of France, Italy & Germany.  Using simple ingredients - flour, water, salt and yeast - we scratch mix and hand shape long fermented doughs for stone hearth baking.

  • All of our flour is unbleached and unbromated.  Our freshly milled rye, whole wheat, and spelt flour is stone ground & locally sourced.  No dough conditioners, preservatives or improvers of any kind are added.

  • Our entire menu is made fresh daily by a highly skilled staff committed to preserving the art and craft of traditional bread & pastry making while taking a modern approach.
